states of transportThe city is in a constant state of transport. Every day its inhabitants cross it and recross it and cross it again. They are going to work, they are working, going home, shopping eating, visiting. They go to offices, cafes, restaurants, pubs, discoes, and sporting events. Its as if their trajectories are threads that they weave continuously into the fabric that is the city. If everyone in the city were to stay in place for an entire day, it would cease to be a city. |
